WELCOME to Sparkly A Course in Miracles
The Sparkly is also know as the Thetford edition in honor of it being the version that Dr. Bill Thetford, co-scribe of A Course in Miracles edited and completed alongside Dr. Helen Schucman.
In Helen’s Notes: Dialogues with Jesus, we learn that Bill Thetford was assigned the role of editor, as he was the one responsible for “what stays in and is taken out of the Course.” Sparkly is the version Bill completed in order to bring it to Hugh-Lyn Cayce (Edgar Cayce’s son) for his feedback and support. That is why this version is also sometimes called the HLC Version (Hugh Lyn Cayce version). It also has a small book sized amount of content reinstated that includes important information on the Soul, Inner Guidance, Asking/Listening, Freud, Sexual Impulses, Miracles and “doing” in this world.
The Course teaches us about non duality and duality, about the ego and the Spirit.
It teaches us about psychology, philosophy, metaphysics, forgiveness and the power of decision making.
It teaches us how to pray, ask, listen and trust so that we can heal and be healed.
It teaches us about relationships and emphasizes the importance of holy relationships.
It helps us to train and change our mind, so we do our special function and together we can change the world.
A Course in Miracles is a scribed material.
It is here to bring mind training and a way of peace closer to all of us.
Its author and teacher is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
